NICHOL    CHRISTMAS   MIRACLE

Hello,

    

    My name is Ela Krawec and I, like you, am also a student of Josh Nichol. I have had the immense privilege to know and work under Josh's guidance for the past five years. It is because of him that I am where I am today with my horse, and that I am where I am in my life. Josh has given me the opportunity to look deeper into myself, and who I am. To find the courage to face what needed to be faced, and to leap such vast strides in my horsemanship. 

    

    In the past five years I had undergone a spinal surgery. In my darkest hours, I thought I would never be able to ride my horse again. Oh boy, was I wrong! It is thanks to Josh Nichol that I have been riding my beautiful black horse once again, and have had the freedom to enjoy every moment of it! This is my miracle, and I would love to pay it forward. I know that my story is not much different than yours. At some point we all went looking for someone to help us along in our struggles with our horses, lift us up where we had fallen. As luck would have it, we have found The Master. 

    I have also been blessed with the honour of meeting the rest of the Nichol family; and what an incredible family they are, simply swelling with compassion and love. Some of us were even able to witness their tremendous generosity at the Josh Nichol 10th Year Anniversary Celebration. It was there that Cindy, Josh's beautiful wife, and he donated all their proceeds to a family with greater needs. 

    As most of you know, Cindy and Josh now find themselves in the middle of the adoption process. Yet another astounding example of their bottomless hearts, changing yet another life. These are the kind of miracle makers that our world needs more of. They have always been there for us when we stumbled or reached an impasse. But now, it is they who need our help.

    

    Josh and his family are in need of a miracle of their own. It is time to give back. To return a little something of the countless and priceless gifts he has given all of us.

 

    Now, with the assistance of Dale Weiers, I am staging a fundraiser to aid the Nichol Family and assist with adoption costs, or perhaps afford them the opportunity for a relaxing holiday to rejuvenate and take respite from the constant hard work that Josh and his family have undertaken to help so many of us. The truth is that we all need Josh to be there, and if he burns out, we are all going to be in deep trouble. 

 

    Josh is the image of a hard worker, always giving every ounce he has to both person and horse; never turning a blind eye to our plight. Always fully present, patiently helping everyone around him. This is your chance to say thank you, and show your support and appreciation for him, his wonderful wife Cindy, and everything that they have done for us.

    

         The plan is simple, give what you can, and together, we can make a true Nichol Christmas Miracle!
